Class types

A range of class types to suit all experience levels and abilities.

Beginner

Beginner reformer classes will cover an introduction to the equipment if you have not used it before. The class is set to a slower pace with less props used. You will be set up on the reformer for your body type, so do arrive five mins early.

We expect you to be able to set the reformer up for yourself before moving into a more advanced class.

Open level

Open level reformer class is more dynamic than the Beginner, with lots of options to cover different abilities. You have more control over your springs and will be offered spring options to make exercises harder or easier. You are expected to know your own set up on the reformer to attend this class.

Intermediate

Intermediate is a fast paced and challenging class. Combining some more of the challenging classical pilates rep with contemporary rep. You are encouraged to speed up movements to find dynamic movement whilst still maintaining control and alignment.

Stretch

Stretch is a gentle session aiming to wring out tightness and niggles in the body. You will be led through a series of moving and static stretches as well as focusing on mobility exercises.

We take our time to release tension, increase flexibility and reduce stress from the body and mind.

Pre + Post Natal

Our pre + post natal Reformer classes are held with an experienced and fully qualified teacher in a small studio setting. The class will be at a slower pace, will include a combination of strength and mobility work. Both needed for healthy pregnancy, birth and beyond!

Please note that if you are pregnant, we cannot take you in any other classes than our prenatal after 16weeks. This is due to positions, movement and load having to be modified.

Our pre-natal classes are suitable for after first scan beyond.

Jumpboard

Jumpboard is a type of Pilates equipment that combines the traditional Reformer bed with a "jumpboard" attachment at one end. This attachment is essentially a cushioned board with springs that allows you to perform jumping exercises while using the resistance of the Reformer. The jumpboard provides a safe and controlled way to do plyometric exercises and cardiovascular training, while also engaging core muscles, improving coordination, and enhancing overall muscle tone.

This class isn't suitable for pregnant clients.
